Oh wow Orca these are amazing! They look like the came straight from a Disney animator's desk. ;o; Do you plan on showing us the rest of them once the full piece is completed? I'd personally be really excited to see them if you did. ;v; Each one is so full of movement and great expressions and dang they're all so wonderful! I think my favorite is the one of Jumba in the near middleish area. uvu
I might! I'll likely scan them if I can. Honestly I'm a bit behind in this class so I may not finish all 300 until after the deadline (we aren't really graded until the end of the term anyway) but I'll see what I can do. We have a lot of cool homework assignments like this and I may scan a bunch of them toward the end of the term
300 heads/expressions of characters from specific 2-D animation Disney films that our teacher approved. I chose to do Lilo and Stitch because I wanted to, but maybe I'll do some from another if I get bored of it before I reach 300. He's trying to get us to understand expressions more and enrich our abilities to draw expressions. Disney is a fantastic reference for such things, of course.
Haha wow, that is such a cool assignment. In my opinion, the older Disney movies are the best, but that's just because I prefer the 2-D look. Regardless though Disney rocks. Anyway, I really hope you show us the other 255 heads
Perhaps if I finish all of them I will! Hah. I love the look of the 2-D and the 3-D, each of them brings me joy in a different sense 2-D was just better for this assignment since there's no real "drawn line" in the finished product of a 3-D animated film.
